As part of the event accompanying the exhibition BEYOND TABOO XII. STRUGGLE! by artists associated with the ArtBrut Gallery & Studio, we invite you to a meeting with Joanna Czerkasow, Director of the Wrocław Without Barriers Office, and Barbara Lisiewicz, Director of the Social Diversity Department. The conversation accompanying the exhibition will be devoted to various dimensions of the struggle against prejudice, inequality and barriers, also the invisible ones that are rooted in our minds. Our guests will talk about their everyday experiences related to the fight against exclusion, based on the activities of the Wrocław Without Barriers Office and the Department.

The meeting will be moderated by Katarzyna Kaczorowska, a Wrocław-based journalist associated with the Polityka weekly magazine and a social activist. The event will also be attended by the artists of the exhibition and the artistic curators of BEYOND TABBOO XII. STRUGGLE! Miriam Pawlęga and Jacek Zachodny.

Barbara Lisiewicz – Director of the Social Diversity Department, member of the Wrocław Women's Council, the Equal Treatment Council and the Public Benefit Council.

Joanna Czerkasow – Director of the Wrocław Without Barriers Office, member of the Lower Silesian Women's Congress and Women's Strike; privately, a lover of cats and tattoo art.
