Due to the epidemiological situation, we were once again forced to move the event accompanying the exhibition Marta's World of Doodle Boarders to virtual reality.

The theme of the event were the works of Marta Nawojczyk presented at the exhibition Marta's World of Doodle Boarders, and a concert by Igor Gawlikowski, who performed an improvised musical composition inspired by Marta's drawings and paintings.

The performance was followed by a discussion whose axis was, on the one hand, the work of the artists, and on the other, the language of art, which allows artists to communicate beyond the boundaries of disciplines, techniques and fields of art, and even more so the limitations resulting from disabilities.

The event was moderated by Agata Saraczyńska - art historian and critic, associated with the independent cultural circles in Wrocław. Journalist, publishing in the daily and cultural press, author of radio and television programs devoted to art, design, national heritage and art education. For over a decade she has been associated with the World of Hope Association and the ArtBrut Gallery.

The special guest was Igor Gawlikowski - guitarist, composer, experimenter, author of music for theatre plays and radio dramas. Co-founder and member of the interdisciplinary group Karbido. He has already cooperated with ArtBrut Gallery & Studio on previous projects.
