The meeting referring to the subject of the works of Kamil Łyjak – an artist associated with the ArtBrut Gallery & Studio since 2016.

During the broadcast on Radio Wrocław Kultura, we will talk about the works of Kamil Łyjak, who with amazing precision and insight registers elements of everyday life. In his work, he uses fineliners and markers, documenting the objects around him, the places he loves to visit and all those things that bother him daily. Kamil is also the author of a series of portraits presenting his friends and family. Working with extraordinary meticulousness he creates dense and multi-layered works.

Iwona Ogrodzka, curator of the exhibition, and Zofia Małkowicz-Daszkowska, sociologist, co-author of the publication Places of Everyday Life and researcher associated with the Archive of Research on Daily Life, will talk about Kamil's work, but also about what makes the artists draw inspiration for their work from everyday life.
