Biography

Mateusz Ziomek creates large format oil paintings on canvas and drawings on paper and cardboard. His works are unique in colour and formally mysterious. They are full of energy and emotions, filled with irony and humour. Although their works differ significantly, they create an artistic tandem with his mother, Ola Opalińska, an artist. He collaborated with well-known artists, including Marcin Harlender, with whom he created a series of abstract compositions.
He has been associated with the ArtBrut Gallery since 2011.
