Biography

Maciej Tryniszewski works are full of fantastic silhouettes of heroes, monsters, but also famous figures of pop culture, the world of comics and heroes of urban legends. He uses various techniques, preferably creating gouaches in an expressive style, drawing, and also photography. He often describes his works using a specific writing with a changed alphabet, new, self-created characters and unique symbols. His works have been included in the book I DON’T FIT IN MY SKIN, published by the ArtBrut Gallery & Studio in cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016.
He has been associated with the ArtBrut Gallery and Studio since their inception in 2009.
