Elwira Zacharska
Biography
Elwira Zacharska is a multidisciplinary and versatile artist. The main theme of her work is nature. She started with compositions of dried plants and painting on glass, now she draws, works on sound art, video art and photography. She creates installations of thematically related works, assembling cycles out of them and presenting them in the form of prints or lightboxes. She writes various texts, poems, essays and manifestos. Her texts have been included in the book ‘I DON’T FIT IN MY SKIN’, published by the ArtBrut Gallery & Workshop in cooperation with the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016.
She has been affiliated with the ArtBrut Gallery & Studio since their inception in 2009.
