We invite you to the event accompanying the exhibition And the Heart – It's Art! of Agnieszka Kołodziejczyk

The event will include a meeting and conversation about the Heart, our inner drive and source of emotions. The guest speaker will be Małgorzata Ludwińska – a practicing anaesthesiologist and acupuncturist, trying to combine in her medical practice the knowledge of Western medicine with the centuries-old wisdom of the Medicine of the East.

The meeting will be attended by Jacek Zachodny, the exhibition's artistic supervisor, and Agnieszka Kołodziejczyk, the artist.

We will talk about the heart as one of the most important body organs. Moreover, about its symbolic dimension – as a source of emotions in the context of medicine and philosophy of the Far East. Together, we will try to find an explanation why we should not lie to our hearts, how important harmony and balance is in our life, and whether and how art can help us with this.

The event will also include the conclusion and summary of the action that accompanies the exhibition – the Heart Artbook. In order to enter it, all you have to do is come to the exhibition during the opening hours of the ArtBrut Gallery and Studio, pose for a Polaroid portrait against the background of the heart mandala by Agnieszka Kołodziejczyk, and answer the question: And the heart – is...?
